While smart accounts are thriving after the introduction of ERC-4337, there are a few limitations that ERC-4337 has failed to solve. These include high gas fees, bundler centralization, and compatibility issues.

To overcome the limitations of ERC-4337, the Kroma team has embarked on bringing Native Account Abstraction into OP Stack by implementing RIP-7560, RIP-7711, and RIP-7712 on OP Stack codebase. Pioneer Alpha is a public devnet for this initiative, calling all AA developers for the innovation.
